Straight No Chaser was wonderful!! But...
The concert was fabulous! It was a little disappointing not hearing any Christmas music for the first time in my three concerts with the group, but it was expected since it was in the middle of May. The small venue maintained the intimate atmosphere that the group always delivers. This show is definitely aimed at women, with ten handsome men singing love songs. I attended with my boyfriend, which made it a bit odd, but he mostly enjoyed it, so don't hesitate to bring your man! Oops! The worst part of the show was trying to get pictures with the group afterwards. Ronaldo Mercado is always so patient and kind with fans, allowing as many pictures as we want. The security at Turning Stone was incredibly rude! The lighting for pictures was terrible as they placed us in an awful spot. To make matters worse, one of the security guards (hired by Turning Stone) attempted to physically remove me when I requested an individual photo with the group. I was shocked! I regret not getting his name to file a complaint. The concert overall was fantastic, but that unfortunate incident will likely stick with me for a while.
